2. Scooter Information & Key Features

Learn more about KuKirin electric scooters, including model selection, performance, battery range, weight capacity, tire pressure, warranty, and other key features.

2.1 Why Choose an Electric Scooter for Everyday Travel?

Electric scooters provide a number of benefits for everyday transportation:

  • Lower fuel costs: Using an electric scooter can help reduce your regular transportation expenses.
  • Greater convenience: Electric scooters are easy to use and allow you to travel to your destination without waiting for public transportation.
  • More environmentally friendly: Electric scooters do not produce direct exhaust emissions during operation, making them a more environmentally friendly transportation option.
2.2 How Do I Find the Right KuKirin Electric Scooter?

When selecting a KuKirin electric scooter, we recommend considering:

  • Safety
  • Size and portability
  • Motor performance
  • Battery range
  • Riding comfort
  • Price
  • Your usual riding environment

If unsure, contact customer service and provide intended use; they can recommend a suitable model.

2.3 How Much Weight Can a KuKirin Electric Scooter Carry?

For optimal riding performance, we recommend a rider weight of 220 lbs (approximately 100 kg) or below.

Carrying a load above the recommended weight may reduce the scooter's range and average speed and can affect overall riding performance.

2.4 What Tire Pressure Should I Use?

31.9–34.8 PSI (220–240 kPa).

Correct pressure can improve stability, handling, comfort, and energy efficiency.

2.5 Which Factors Can Impact Electric Scooter Range?

Actual range depends on:

  • Battery condition
  • Tire pressure
  • Rider weight
  • Riding speed
  • Terrain
  • Temperature
  • Wind conditions
  • Road conditions
  • Riding habits

Therefore, actual range may differ from maximum advertised range.

2.6 How Long Can the Battery Usually Be Used?

Lithium-ion batteries have a limited number of charging/discharging cycles and gradually lose performance over time.

With proper use, storage, and maintenance, the battery can provide reliable performance for an extended period. Lifespan depends on charging frequency, storage conditions, temperature, riding habits, and maintenance.

2.7 Does Performance Decrease When the Battery Is Low?

Yes. As battery charge decreases, voltage drops, so maximum speed may gradually decrease when battery is low.

2.8 Is There a Warranty for KuKirin Electric Scooters?

Yes. Orders purchased through official KuKirin website are covered by 12 months of after-sales repair service.

For details, refer to Warranty Policy.

2.9 What Should I Do If My KuKirin Scooter Develops a Problem?

If purchased directly from official KuKirin website, contact customer service:

For Europe, KuKirin also provides after-sales support through its service center in Poland.

3. Riding, Care & Maintenance

Discover essential information about safe riding, weather conditions, battery storage, charging, cleaning, maintenance, and after-sales repair support.

3.1 Can I Ride My KuKirin Scooter in Wet Weather?

We do not recommend using it in rainy conditions.

Although certain components are designed to withstand everyday splashes, wet riding can increase safety risks and expose electrical components to moisture.

Avoid heavy rain or deep water.

3.2 Can I Use My Electric Scooter in Cold Temperatures?

Cold temperatures can affect performance, particularly the battery.

Store indoors and avoid prolonged exposure to extremely low temperatures, which may negatively affect battery, motor, and tires.

3.3 Is Riding an Electric Scooter in Snow Recommended?

We strongly recommend avoiding riding in snow.

Snow and ice reduce tire traction and make the scooter harder to control. Below 0°C, battery performance may decrease and energy consumption may increase.

3.4 What Safety Tips Should I Follow Before and During a Ride?

Safety is top priority.

  • Wear helmet and suitable protective equipment.
  • Follow local traffic laws and regulations.
  • Check weather before riding.
  • Stay alert to road conditions and potential hazards.
  • Ride at safe, appropriate speed.
  • Inspect scooter before each ride.
  • Securely lock scooter after parking.
3.5 How Should I Store the Battery for a Long Period?

For extended storage, keep the battery in a suitable environment.

  • Recommended long-term storage temperature: approximately -20°C to 25°C (-4°F to 77°F)
  • Possible lithium-ion battery storage temperature range: -20°C to 60°C (-4°F to 140°F)
  • Recommended storage humidity: 45%–75%
  • Recommended battery level for storage: approximately 30%–50%

Avoid prolonged complete discharge.

Before long-term storage and periodically during storage, recharge to prevent excessive discharge.

3.6 How Often Should I Recharge the Battery During Long-Term Storage?

If unused for an extended period, check the battery level regularly and recharge as needed.

Periodic maintenance charging can help prevent excessive discharge.

3.7 Can I Leave My Scooter Charging Overnight?

Do not leave it connected longer than necessary.

Do not charge continuously for more than 24 hours. Follow model-specific charging instructions.

3.8 How Should I Clean My KuKirin Electric Scooter?

Wipe with a damp cloth or use a dry brush to remove dust and dirt.

Do not submerge in water or spray large amounts directly.

Make sure the scooter is fully dry before charging or riding.

3.9 How Are the Advertised Range Figures Tested?

The advertised range is tested under the following conditions:

  • Rider weight: 60 kg
  • Temperature: 25°C
  • Average speed: 20 km/h
  • Road conditions: Flat urban roads

Actual performance and range vary depending on rider weight, terrain, temperature, wind, road conditions, speed, and riding style.

It is normal for actual range to differ from the advertised figure.

If a significant reduction is caused by a battery defect, contact customer service.

3.10 Where Can I Get My KuKirin Scooter Repaired in Europe?

KuKirin provides European after-sales support, including an after-sales service center in Poland.

If warranty service or repair is needed, contact customer service first and follow the instructions before sending the scooter or components.
